Seat Lock Disassembly 1980 KZ750H

Sorry if this has been posted before, but I couldn't find anything with the search.
The seat lock (already removed from the bike) on my 750 has jammed up. I have drilled the pin and removed the barrel and removed the latch pin and latch. I can't seem to get the actual locking mechanism out. I've tried pulling the part out that attaches to the end of the barrel, but no luck. Does anyone know how the locking mechanism goes together? Before I start heating and hammering it would be nice to know what is actually jammed and what is being held in by other parts.

Just an update. I eventually got everything apart with a lot of heating/wd40/force. The cylinder that fits into the end of the barrel was proper stuck, as soon as I got it out the sprung locking pin at the back just fell out.

Was corrosion causing the problem, or something else?

A bit of corrosion, and 40 years worth of dirt and gunk. I think when I was pulling it apart some dirt or other crap got lodged in there locking it in place.
