Hi All.
As in the title... what are people using as sticky road tyres on stock wheels (18"" front, 17" rear) for an 1986 GPz750A (ZX750F)
Back in the day I loved the Michelin TX15/TX25 HiSports on my other bikes, but I don't think they were ever available in the size I need, I also suspect things have moved on a tad but my wheel size seems very unrepresented in a more squidgy compound....any ideas welcomed.
Cheers.
Goody.

Pirelli Sport Demon are one of the stickiest. Avon Roadriders are almost as sticky and last much longer, although there is some random occurrence history of the sidewalls cracking.

I've been using Pirelli Sport Demon tires for the past 14,000 miles (I'm on my second set) and I like them very much. Ed

Wow, I went through 3 sets of those last year in under 10,000 miles.
I went with a different brand this year and so far, they've lasted much better.
Still hardly any wear showing on this set.
I got a set of Continental Conti Go!
Really liking how sticky, but longer wearing they are than those Sport Demon's I went through last year.

I went through 2 rear Dunlap D404's in 10K miles. I have almost 5K on a set of Michelin Commander 2's now and the rear is still good. They stick and squeal instead of just spinning.

This Dunlap D404 had ~5K miles:

This tire has ~4300 miles when I took the pic.:

Roadriders 3.75 - 19 front 4.00- 18 back ,
yours are probably metric
I get at least 10,000 on the back tire and a few thousand more on the front
Never had the side walls crack but the tires don't get that old, 3 years from mfr date tops.
