I bought a set of forks and brakes, and want to use it on a project. But I am hoping some knows what year and model they’re from.
I did a bunch of searching and found nothing conclusive.
I am needing to source the crowns and wheel, so any info will be helpful.
Thanks.

You bought a set of ZX9-R (94-97) forks and brakes.

Hold on there Scirocco. ZX9R they may be but Im not sure about those dates. I have a 95 front end on mine. Looks like this;

A slightly different moulding on the fork lowers and 4 pot calipers rather than 6 pot.

Did you try these people?

Looking at the front mudguard mounts and the profile of the leg at the seal they not ZX9R but ZX7R which are very similar but shorter.

I’m hoping they will be a good mid for my ‘84 GPZ750.

They are around 1996 P model.
I have the same on my latest Z1000 project.
If the GPZ stem is the same OD dia as the Z650/750 where it sits in the bottom yoke it will press into the ID of the remains of the ZX7 stem (they are both steel) and secure with a ring of weld.
You can internally lengthen the ZX7 forks by 32mm if needed by simply fitting a threaded extension ( see pics ) to the bottom of the damper rod ( the extension needs to be drilled for the passage of damping fluid for rebound ).
