Alternate centerstand stop? was created by Oldjeep
Switching from the stock exhaust to a 4-1. For the moment I have just reinstalled the stock exhaust hanger that had the bumper on it. Seems like someone would have come up with a clever way to do away with having this thing hanging off the frame.
Also curious if anyone has chopped off the long arm on the center stand and replaced with something like a fold out foot peg, so that it is tucked in a bit further?
Don't want to give up the center stand, just trying to make it a little less obtrusive looking.

Here's one solution. see link >> the center stand clamp bolts were replaced with a device to act as a stop.
There are other ways to do it. Try doing a google image search >> site:kzrider.com center stand stop
KZR >> Center Stand Hitting Chain-'78 KZ1000 Ltd. see reply & pics by rstnick.
