Looking for a pair of these for my 750ltd project. What are they called? Cable holders?

Thanks. Never would have guessed that name. I guess the kid I bought the bike from must have pried the reflectors off of the black pieces.

The kid may not have done anything. Some models didn't have the reflectors there, just the black base plate, because Kawasaki relocated the reflectors to a fancier headlight bracket that mimics the fork ears found on the 70s KZs. Here's a pic of the HL bracket >> if your bike has this type, then the reflectors would be on the bracket instead of at the frame.

reflectors removed while refurbishing.

I don't think mine has that. After looking at the cost of those plastic reflector/non reflector pieces on ebay. I'm thinking that I'll just create some new pieces there out of some HDPE to keep the wires in place and not worry about the reflectors.

I don't think the wire harnesses or anything are supposed to be routed there. They're usually routed along the top frame tube to keep them away from the hot engine.

You might be able to find some used frame reflectors on EB, but they aren't absolutely necessary unless you keep your wires there.

I'll have to look. I know for sure that there are 2 cables behind the right side one. One is wiring and the other is the throttle cable I think. Don't recall if there is anything on the left side. Even with nothing there I think I'll install something to cover up the terrible looking factory booger welds where the tubes and gusset come together there ;)

No eBay APP ID and/or Cert ID defined in Kunena configurationWell, I'm pretty sure everything should be higher up & routed along the upper frame tube, and not behind the reflectors. otherwise, something might get melted.

Here's a pair of used frame reflectors. about $15T. The KZ750H Ltd & KZ650-CSR models share a number of parts, including those reflectors.

OK. I'll have to see if I can find some pictures of another persons project so I can see where it is all supposed to be. No big deal to pull the tank off and relocate them if they are supposed to be under the tank.

Thanks

Just a thought. I'm wondering if the previous owner relocated them there when he put the flat bars on. Seems like all the handlebar wiring and throttle cable would have been too long at that point.

Yes, that's probably what he did. You may need to get shorter throttle cables.
Also, he may have gotten rid of the stock headlight bracket w reflectors.

I found the part number for your "frame reflector" & it's actually a Housing Label, 13227-1001 (but you can use the reflector assy above).
Notice the word Kawasaki on yours >> that's a separate part used in place of a reflector >> 56030-1006, Label.

He certainly could have gotten rid of the headlight reflectors. The bike had some cheap plastic bullet lights for all 4 turn signals and the tail lamp when I got it. The front ones are still on until I find a better replacement. The rears were replaced with a single unit tail/signal LED. I'm not worried at all about originality, the ultimate goal once the mechanical stuff is good is to convert it to a café(ish) styling
