Does anyone know what footpegs are a bolt on for my bike? Doesn't matter if they look the same, just want to know what bolts up. Hell, I'd put Harley pegs on there if I thought it was a direct swap! Thanks in advance!

I have several restored bikes along with a 2006 Goldwing with a sidecar. My wife has a 2019 Suzuki DR 650 for on and off road.

I keep an eye on ebay but was hoping for a newer alternative, or maybe another KZ model where new replacements are available for less $ and are a direct bolt on. I found some new ones a week or 2 ago but they were almost $80. This is where I wouldn't mind some Chinese knock-offs.

I have to check out my wife's bike. She has an 81 LTD. But I know on my bikes the front ones from 1973 to 1980 will fit. Rear ones from almost any Kawasaki will fit.

If you scroll down the Related Fitment list, you will see that quite a few models used the same one, though they are listed as NLA.

My buddy put some knarly-looking dirt pegs on his 550A to get a better grip with work boots.
I'll ask him what they were off of. They were a simple bolt-on or maybe needed a tiny bit of fitting.
Open this link in a new page/tab to see it full size.

No eBay APP ID and/or Cert ID defined in Kunena configurationThat actually looks pretty good. I won't be doing any long distance riding on this machine so they might work. Let me know what you find out!
**I just found these on eBay. I've emailed them to get a measurement or 2 so I may order these to try.

I found out they were IMS Pro footpegs made for a 2007 KLR 650. So my buddy said he thinks any footpegs designed to fit the 07 KLR650 should *probably* fit the Kz550 peg stems. (He actually owned the Kz550 and KLR650 at the same time.) It just requires pulling the cotter pin and pulling the pivot pin to replace them.
They were available at www.rockymountainATVMC.com , but my buddy got them cheaper on ebay.
I can't find them on the site anymore, but there are these similar Tusk brand:

Cross-referencing the mounting pin will show what other footrests might work. For example the 2012 KLX250 uses the same pins & the KLX footrests are very similar to the Tusk brand loudhvx linked. other models in the x-ref. KLX300. KLX650. EL250. etc. I would get rubber footrests.
FYI. The KZ550 pins are listed as 8 x 35.5 mm in the diagrams, but the Ninja 250 pins are 12 x 37.5, so the Ninja footrests probably won't fit right. bushings might could work to make the smaller pins fit the bigger holes in the Ninjas. assuming they otherwise fit into the footrest brackets.
