I'm grateful to find a lot of people who like the kz.
Some time ago I bought a KZ1100 Spectre 83 and I have a doubt about the break disc, is like a flat plate, isn't completely plane. Is this normal or I have to buy a new one? I was looking on Ebay a replacement but didn't find the same. I'll attach some pictures so you can see the disc. Thanx in advance.

Looks like you need to do a caliper rebuild first.

You have to see the pads, was only metaldaveo wrote: Definitely replace it with a flat one. That brake rotor looks to be radically warped.

From the diagrams at Partzilla the KZ1100 Spectre has the same rear brake rotor as a number of models, including the KZ1000-P police models thru at least 2001 & various Vulcan models. I'd guess a 2002-05 Police rear brake disk could be used, but it has a different part number which might supersede the old part number. again, just guessing.

Thank you a lot , I found that some Vulcans have the same disc on the front. I talked with a friend who have a front of one. You save my life.

I didn't think on that, I'll check the caliper. Thanx
