I tried to search on this but, does anyone have any idea if a set of vetter bags will work on a 1979 KZ1000ST that is running a 4 into 1 pipe? There is a set of vetter bags that came off an 80' KZ1000 Shafty for sale with the Vetter mounts. Any help is appreciated. TIA

That depends on which pipe you are using. Some keep the muffler quite low and should present no problems with interferance. Some have a more modern look that puts the muffler at quite an angle and will likely make mounting the bags more of a challenge. Some are in between. You really need some measurements on the particular exhaust system you are using and from a bike with those bags mounted to know what will fit.

Thanks and sorry for not being specific. I'm running a Delkovic pipe with the megaphone muffler. It looks to be a bit higher than the Kerker/Supertrapp.
Anyone running this combo?
TIA
