Ignition lock cylinder cover decal

Got a 1980 kz440B and the lock cylinder cover which has the 3 lights(neutral,oil and turn signal) the white lettering is badly faded. .. it looks like that piece is a cardboard type decal - was wondering if anyone knows where i could get a new one or if not any tricks to redo my old one ..

No ,but it's close to it.. .. mine has the oil light in the middle. You gave me the idea to look up the part # and i came up with "indicator lamp cover #25023-1011) there is one on e-bay for about 60 dollars .. I was kinda hoping there may just be the paper decal available

Here's a pilot cover for the 78-79 KZ400-B with neutral (green), oil (red) & turn (amber). part # 25023-1005. ~ $50T.


ps: There are heavy duty stick-on printer labels available, but I don't know if there's anything suitable for use on a motorcycle.

The tachometer for his 440B should have a high beam indicator, so it seems logical that his pilot cover would have an oil warning light.

Correct. The wiring diagram for the 1980 KZ440-B1 shows the central cluster with Neutral Indicator, Oil Pressure Warning; and Turn Signal Indicator lights. Diagram below (click on diagram twice to expand it). Ed
