Hey guys,

I putting my project bike back together and noticed that I tore the metal gasket that's sandwiched between the transmission and propeller shaft.

Was thinking about replacing it but I cant seem to find any reference to it in the service manual. My question is:

1. Is this oem or did the previous owner just put it there?

2. If its oem, why is there 3 gaskets? I think and 2 thin.

3. Anybody got a part number?

Thanks.

There are quite a few places with parts diagrams. Kawasaki.com. CMSNL. etc. Partzilla is probably the easiest to use.
I'm not sure what part you need, but there are several different gasket-like shims in the front bevel gear assy & drive shaft final drive assy. I have no idea if they're supposed to be stacked, but each type comes in various thicknesses.
Partzilla > Kawasaki > motorcycle >1983 KZ750-N2 Spectre

For a manual. search eebbaayy for KZ750 Shaft manual. usually, several are available at reasonable cost.
