KZ tach/speedo swap

I would like to know if anyone knows what tach/speedo swaps are available for my 1981 KZ550. I think any most speedos from a KZ would work as long as mechanical. But not sure. Thoughts?

I really don't know about the tach though. Mine redlines at 9500. Anyone have any ideas what year/models I should look at? I'm not interested in going electonic though. Thanks.

It may not matter, but is your motorcycle a 550A Standard or 550C Ltd or ??? Meters can be different diameters between models. I know for certain that the 81 650-CSR meters are larger in diameter than the 750E & 1000P. You could compare the meter brackets & meter covers of a potential donor bike. If the donor meter covers are the same, then the meters are probably the same diameter.

I would check eebbaayy to see if any good stock meters are available. use partzilla to get the part numbers, but
also search for KZ550 speedometer etc as most sellers probably won't have the part numbers or correct part numbers.

I have for sale a 1980 KZ550 A tach that I'm almost sure would fit. It's in excellent condition.
