GPZ900R A7 Front forks fitted to an A1?
31 Jul 2018 02:02
Does anyone know if GPZ900R A7 Front forks would fit on an A1 model?
I am thinking of swapping to facilitate the A7 brakes.

Doesnt the 900 have a 16inch front wheel?

It does but I am after fitting different wheels (KZ1000 Police) and wanted to upgrade the brakes to if possible.

Is there something special about the 900 brakes? It seems like a lot of messing around to fit Gpz900 brakes. If you want to upgrade, Id go for either something that can bolt directly onto what youve already got or swap the whole front end out ( forks, wheel and brakes) for a complete, more modern front end.

I need to fit 300mm OD front brakes and the A7 model takes that. Just weighing up options really at the moment
