Installed the crashbars on my bike today. WHEW. I didn't think it would be be that hard !! Might b cause I'm 65 years young?? Had to get longer bolts though. The front bolt the real long one about 12-1/2 inches long couldn't fine one , got some threaded rod made one worked out great. Now to find some highway pegs.

Nothing is easy on an old motorcycle. When I installed mine, I got new metric bolts from the local fastener supply. unfortunately, I didn't consider the size of the bolt heads & the ones I got wouldn't fit into the engine cases. The place didn't have metric with smaller heads, so I kind of had to get 3/8" bolts instead. I was there & didn't want to waste more time finding the right bolts. doh. Additionally, the mc enterprises case savers I got were nos w perfect chrome. the chrome faded within a couple of years. very disappointing. doh.
