No eBay APP ID and/or Cert ID defined in Kunena configurationWhat does everyone do for the rubber engine mounts? i.e. these

Mine are falling apart and loose in the engine. I think poly will transmit too much vibration so get some rubber bushings or try and source some originals in the UK, which seem few and far between and in no better condition than mine. .

Could also try posting wanted on Z1OC forum. We've all got big parts bins!

Where in the world are you? Last month,'Practical Sportsbike' ( a British magazine) ran a piece about molding your own engine mounts. Ill see if I can find it.

Ok,I see youre in the UK. Have a look for issue 91 (May 2018) 'Practical Sportsbike'. Its got the special build of the year on the cover. Its a fantastic magazine anyway and full of really useful stuff for anyone running an older bike.
'Classic and motorcycle mechanics' is another one worth a look.

Apparently its not sending me messages when I get replies!

Warren thanks for that link, hadn't found that link before. Useful to get a new site for parts. Theres a few bits on there that I have already ordered from the US even if they dont seem to have what I need.

Scirocco yup, mine are almost as bad!

Davido I will see what I can find tomorrow. I know you can buy rubber bushings and that was going to be my next stop.

Ian
