Hi.
Can anybody tell me if kz650 or kz650csr triples will fit kz500/550?
Im doing kz500(-82) build and would like to have top yoke like this.
Mine is with 36mm tubes.

Some Kz650's had 36mm forks as did many Kz550's. Beyond that, I'm not sure the fork clamps are interchangeable. I would think it was highly unlikely since the 550's had a leading axle and the 650 did not. And so I assume the geometry is different.

What are the measurements of your KZ500 triple tree? I have a spare CSR to measure.

The KZ650CSR has leading axle forks.

Oops. Did not know about the csr.

In that case, I have some rough measurements for the standard 550/550D1gpz :

The inner distance between forks (not center-to-center) looks to be about 153.7mm with +/- maybe .3mm.

The stem is centered very roughly about 20mm off of the centerline between fork tubes.
I'm fairly certain the forks and stem are parallel.
