Remove steering neck inner races??

Hey all,
Replacing the old ball type bearings with AllBalls tapered roller bearings in the steering neck. My question is, do I remove the inner bearing races inside the neck? Or do the new tapered bearings sit against them?

Yes; the old races must be removed. The new races should fit in a way similar to the ones I installed on my KZ650-C1. Ed
