kz400 brake caliper switch 1975-1976

Hi Folks,
Im new here so please excuse me if Im redundant or dingy. I have a kz400 1976. front brake was handed to me in a bag and parts are missing that I cant find anywhere on the net or local. I did find someone parting out a 1975 kz400 about 20 minutes from my house and I have already got some other parts from him. He has the entire front brake caliper for the 1975 BUT it is slightly different and the parts numbers are NOT the same on the schematics. Im super new to wrenching but wanna try to do some stuff my self. Q: Is is possible to install the 1975 caliper on the 76? Any thoughts appreciated!! THANK YOU
