What wheel is it and does the rim match the hub? Also, what spokes did you get?
Before removing the old spokes, did you take a photo of the wheel?

I did not see a similar wheel on eebbaayy. for comparison.

I've not built a motorcycle wheel before but have done lots of bicycle wheels and with those you need to bend over the spokes in order to seat them in the hub. The new spokes don't seem to be seating fully in the hub and they could add stress to both the hub and spokes. If it was a bicycle I'd tell you to bend the spokes to assure they seat fully but I'm not sure if that same advise is appropriate for a motorcycle wheel.

I bent one to see I did get a much better fit I just feel like I should not have to but for a set of new emgo spokes for 35 dollars I should have known the quality was probably not as good

A good Technician never "bends" anything; he "forms" it. Having said that:

I would never put The Lovely Z1BEBE on a wheel laced with spokes that had to be "bent" by me to "fit properly". Her health & wellbeing is worth infinitely more than saving a few bucks on cheap spokes. Jus' sayin'...

Perhaps you should consider riding last in a group, so if that wheel comes apart on the road no one else gets hurt.

Yeah I think Z1 sells Buchanan spokes, they are the best!

I am not happy with emgo's 1 size fits all attitude, their cables are crap IMO and their bulbs are garbage too!

I steer clear

Please respond back after you get the new spokes and tell us how it went. Again, when building bicycle wheels you always need to bend the spokes a little to get the angle just right. That's because there are all different types of angles involved with different spoking patterns and hub widths.

Good luck
