Tire size for 1978 z1r front?

anyone know what the stock tire size would be for a 1978 z1r kz1000

Ok, there is something fishie,I bought a new tire 110/90 18 and its too big,wont go through the fender bolts.I guess ill go to a 90/90 18 thanks

I certainly would not put a 90/90 tire on it. That is too skinny. I would use the correct metric equivalent tire which is 100/90. That's what I've always used on my KZ650, and if it fits the KZ650 it certainly should fit the KZ1000. The link below may help you with sizes. Ed

I took the fender bolts out, put the tire on,then put them back.Its close but I think ill be ok.
