I have a 1980 kz1000ltd and the master brake reservoir is very thin and leaks. i know it might be the oring also, anybody know where i can find a replacement reservoir?

According to the OEM parts fishe the 1980 1000 LTD master cylinder has an integrated reservoir. In 1981 they went to a plastic reservoir though. Are you sure your bike is a 1980?

If you look at the fishe the '79 rear master seems to have an integrated reservoir which is not offered separately.
