kz1000/1100 swing arm
24 Mar 2017 16:01 - 25 Mar 2017 01:17
Does anyone have the length or dimensions of the kz1000/1100 shaft drive swing arm? I suspect it may be a touch longer then the 750 swing arm.

Hi ok so I"ve tracked down a kz1100 swingarm.
it's 30mm longer than the 750 shafts swing arm. Just have to make it fit now. It measures 275mm at the pivot point. The 750 stocker is 290mm. Anyone have some examples of how to go about making bushings to take up the difference?
thanks

thick washer type bushings should be fine.
how will you go about lengthening your drive shaft?

No eBay APP ID and/or Cert ID defined in Kunena configurationOk so seems I will need longer swing arm pivot bolts to make it work. Goldwing bolts look like they are longer than KZ and should make up the differnce. Just need to verify length and diameter but seems like they're gonna work.
I'm using the KZ1100 driveshaft. Still have to confirm the splines are similar at both ends. Will post up what i find once the swingarm arrives. This is turning into a lot of work for 30mm
But I hate the tucked back wheel look.

yeah i forgot about how the pivot was on shaft drive bikes
disregard that bit about thick washers.
looks like you are onto something with the longer honda bolts.
