Can you true the "whole" front wheel assembly ( tire, brake rotors, wheel/hub ) on a truing stand or does everything have to be removed from wheel and hub ? Going to true my front wheel on my 77' KZ1000A. What to check the wheel's side to side runout.

I have done mine with a bare rim.
I would at least deflate the tire.

As long as everything clears the stand and spins freely it shouldn't be a problem.
Still recovering,some days are better than others.
