Disc to drum conversion 650 sr
18 Feb 2017 09:54
I'm curious about the most logical (cost effective) way to convert my rear hydraulic brake to a basic drum style,
Can I use my existing wheel with the guts of a drum?
Thanks in advance

Just curious - why would you want to do that? Ed

You'll need a swing arm, wheel, brake pedal and linkage. Maybe change the pivot point. I like my drum brake. Still works in the rain.

The drum brake wheel is completely different, as the drum is built into & is part of the wheel.
