Spoke to mags wheel swap

Hi guys! You guys are a big help to my project. I am forever grateful.
So a question. Would I be able to swap my 1974 KZ400 spoke wheels for a 1975 (or any KZ400 later model) mag wheels without changing the forks? Or can I just slap it on?
