It helps to mention what 550 it is. ... year & model (such as Ltd or GPz).
Do you mean the brake pedal or the cam lever? or.
The diagrams at Partzilla can be helpful for stuff like this.
The parts in the drawings are usually oriented the way they would be on the motorcycle.

Just helps to narrow it down from about 20 different 550 variants... :)

1980 Gpz550 D1, 1981 GPz550 D1. 1982 GPz750R1. 1983 z1000R R2. all four aces

Creation of a signature in a poster's profile is a means to automatically include information about the bike year and model in each post, which information is helpful to viewers. The signature helps avoid needing to search though the thread in hopes of finding the information.

While it may sometimes be possible to comb through another member's various earlier postings among other threads in an effort to help guess what make and model is being referred to, I suspect that many members who are normally generous toward posting helpful replies will simply pass and move on without bothering to comb.

It's easy to put information in your signature where it shows in every posted message, past and future. And the signature may be changed whenever and as often as desired.

Here's how:
