I am pretty sure the ZX9 discs have a different bolt pattern, so the adapters will also have to allow for that. Wheel spacers to center the wheel. The speedometer drive will present a big problem as it has to be in contact with the wheel and the stop on the fork leg. The ZX9 fender will not work with the KZ wheel, and the KZ fender will not work on the ZX forks, so some fabrication will be needed there, too.
You will also need to carefully check for clearance between the wheel -exhaust pipes and wheel -bottom triple clamp when the forks are fully compressed.

What kind of wheels do you want to use with the ZX9R fork conversion?

Oh, and there is also the axle to consider.

No problem for the front or rear wheel with stock axle.

I have to cut the ZX9R rear axle to use it as a bearing (ID) sleeve from 20 mm to 25 mm, so that i can use it for my swing arm eccentric chain adjuster.
So you can do the same for the front conversion, dependent of the wheel setup.

So the ZX9 front  axle is the same diameter as the KZ axle?

No TexasKZ
The ZX9R front and rear axle OD is 25 mm.
The ZX9R front and rear axle ID is near 20 mm, so you have to do some sanding to fit a KZ 20 mm OD axle through the ZX9R ID axle.

It's going on this Harris magnum GPZ I want to keep it period looking with the 7 spoke alloys. Just want to beef up the front forks from the 36mm ones that are on there. The only problem I see really are the discs. I could fabricate carriers. Can you get dished discs to compensate?

He made some new wheel hubs or made the disk spacer for the wheel hub.

the length of the zx9r forks may be a problem. I did some work on a custom kz1000 that had zx forks and the 19" front original wheel. The wheel would touch the header under braking. It took some drop triples to sort it out.
