1980 LTD440 WHEELS

WANT TO CHANGE THE WHEELS TO SPOKES OR LARGER REAR RIM SIZE. I CANT FIND ANY 16 IN REAR TIRE SIZES THAT I WANT.WHAT OTHER RIMS FIT MY BIKE.THANKS

I'd bet that wheels from a kz400 would fit pretty easily. There may be some useful info here-- www.kz400.com/

SOME OF THE KZ305 CSR MODELS HAD SPOKE WHEELS. 19" FR AND 16" RR. NO IDEA HOW THEY'D WORK ON A 440. THE 440 STANDARD MODELS HAD AN 18 RR.

From partzilla the 82 G1 is the only 440 model I saw with an 18" Rr cast alloy wheel. It's belt-drive, but you should be able to swap a sprocket carrier no problem. I saw two of them listed on eebbaayy.

The 80-81 440-B wheels are spoked w 18" Rr & they are probably the same as the KZ400.
