Hey......

Pulling down KZ 750e 36mm forks......question ????

Is the allen bolt on bottom of fork leg right hand thread or left ?

Seen some stuff saying its left but want to know for sure...

Cheers

It's RH. be sure to use a brake caliper socket or hardened socket. in case it's a bear to get out.

You may have to use a tool of some sort to hold the damper rod inside the fork from turning while you crank on the allen head screw on the bottom.

I use a spark plug socket that has a hex pattern on the outside and stick a long extension in the socket backwards. The hex matches perfectly with the hex inside the damper rod so you can hold it stable. Other guys make a tool from a bolt and/or a piece of threaded rod.
