Hey guys,

I'm running into a bit of an issue adjusting my front brake drum. I can get either the rear, or front pad to grab, but not both. I've fiddled with the connecting rod a bunch, and also with the main cable adjustment on the drum and the handle-bar adjuster... regardless of the settings, I can pull the lever back to the bars and only have minimal biting force.

I did remove the linked levers to paint the drum... and re-installed to how they were removed.

My only guess is that I installed the levers incorrectly on the splines... Here's a picture of how it's installed now. I have gone through the manual and it is VERY LIMITED as to how it says to adjust everything, and hardly any procedure or specifics on re-installing the levers.

Any ideas?

I actually found a picture of the original setup... I think I'm about 2 teeth off on the splines on BOTH cams... Granted, it's skewed a bit from the angle, but you can clearly see the connecting rod is at the wrong pitch...
