Do you mean shorter shocks to lower the bike? If so, you can just give Progressive or the Hagon importer a call. Tell them what you have and how much shorter you want. I'd bet either company can hook you up. Keep in mind, you cannot go a lot shorter or you will have problems with the rear tire slamming into the fender.

18 Aug 2016 08:36Ok then. What about just replacement shocks because mine seem real worn out.TexasKZ wrote: Do you mean shorter shocks to lower the bike? These are supposed to be good shocks. they maybe aren't the greatest but certainly not the worst.

Hagon - folks who have them seem to like them a bunch and they are reasonably priced.
Progressive - Lots of fans, a little more expensive.
Ikon - (The old Koni shocks) HIgh quality, a little more expensive.
Ohlins - If you want the best and are willing to pay the price.

If you just want shocks that will keep the rear fender off the rear wheel, the $100 Emgo generic shocks will suffice on a light weight bike like the 650 with a single 160 lb. rider/ no passenger. Those shocks shouldn't be used on a bike weighing more than 450 lbs.
I bought a set a few years ago for a KZ1000 and paid $99 including shipping from a well known discount parts mail order company. One of the other guys asked if he could buy them from me after I finally bought decent shocks (used S&W street strokers) to replace them. I sad sure - he could have them for $40. He asked what I had paid for them new, I told him I paid exactly $99 too much.... :pinch:
