hey guys. so I have looked all over for this thread and im sure its on here but im looking for a little help.
I am building a 79 kz1000 drag bike and im looking for a +6 swing arm. I know cal fab is back in business but I world rather have a steel one. is there any suggestions you guys have for brands or swaps?

The D and G chassis website shows some nice looking swing arms but I don't really know a lot about them...... found them looking the other day but not a whole lot more.
1978 KZ650 b-2
700cc Wiseco kit 10 to 1.
1980 KZ750 cam, ape springs, stock clutch/ Barnett springs.
Vance and Hines Header w/ comp baffle and Ape pods, Dyna S and green coils, copper wires.
29MM smooth bores W/ 17.5 pilots, 0-6s and 117.5 main
16/42 gearing X ring chain and alum rear JT sprocket.

Here's a guy who put a +6 swing arm on his Ural (+6 Yards; not inches). :lol: Ed

Thats no BMW. It's a M-66 Ural engine. 650cc. Valve covers and Front of the engine .
I don't have a plan and I'm sticken' to it! '77 KZ 650 / 750 GPz custom project in progress

Check out that drive shaft :blink: I wonder how much flex and vibration it generates? With all the added weight, I bet it has a hard time getting past 45mph even without passengers.
