82 Kz 1000ltd Mod options.
11 Jun 2016 20:23
I am curious to know if anyone here has modified their 1000ltd to look more like a 77 .or 79 Kz. Pics welcome. Also has anyone ever swapped tanks, seat and rear duck fin from a 77 to an ltd?

Small77fFaces,
I don't recall a build exactly like that, but you could spend some time in the Gallery. If you find something similar, you may then be able to search for the build thread. Older threads will be archived.
Swapping tanks can involve a great deal of fabrication, as the frames on different models can be surprisingly different.

You can have a look at my thread. Not exactly LTD to KZ but killing the criuserness of a CSR. I fitted a ducktail and 17nch wheels amongst other stuff. Not finished yet but its on its feet so you get an idea.Ill be keeping the original tank but hopefully fitting a flush mounted filler cap.
All thats left of the CSR is tank, engine, (shortened) frame, clocks and wiring.
It is an ex-cruiser.It has ceased to be!!!!
