hello I'm new here, so I want to apologize in advance if sometimes I do not explain me well .
I am in possession of a Kawasaki GPZ 550 H1 1982 , had in mind for some time a project to do on the bike , specifically wanted to change the alloy wheels with spoked ones because I think they are very beautiful to look at and decrease the weight of the bike
When I went to look for if someone else already had managed to do so I found nothing . You think you can do this project ?
Many thanks in advance,
Davide

Probably the closest match is the KZ1000 CSR (81-82 M1/M2). 48-spoke w aluminum rims. Triple disks.
The front axle is the same as the 550-H1, but the rear axle is larger (20mm).
I have no idea how hard it would be to fit spoked wheels to your bike.
Some possible fitment problems: disk alignment. disk diameter. gpz swing arm too narrow. different hub widths. mating smaller Rr axle & spacers to CSR wheel (if larger axle won't fit the swing arm or brake caliper). etc etc etc.
