I cannot figure out how to install engine guards.

Please post close pictures of your engine guard installation points. I have KZ1000, but KZ750 probably has identical frame.
I have 2 sets. I got one with my bike and bought different ones from ebay. None of them work or I am just not smart enough. :(

I can tell you that the 750 and 1100 definitely are not the same size frames

Mine also has U flanges that bolt to the frame down tubes at the top. Mine does not fit over the MAC pipes, I had to put a short "extender" on the bottom mount points to clear the pipes.

I have the 3 point guards , they're supposed to be stronger than the others, hope I don't have to find out, :)

Back in the day when I bought them they were like 69.00 from the Kawi dealer, Now they're more than twice as much, :(

I am thinking about going to auto repair shop and making guards myself. I'll buy plumbing pipes and bend them on exhaust pipe bending machine.
There are thin wall pipes called conduit in HomeDepot.

Too thin. One of them looks like it will work with a little welding.
