kz750 rear wheel was created by gixxerkidd03
ok so i've done some research on my options for a rear spoke wheel w/ disc for my 81 kz750e/h.
im currently swapping a 2005 GSXR 1000 front end and will be lacing up an new 18" front wheel.
i really want to lace up a matching rear rim and maintain my rear disc. i have seen suggestions on a possible 1000a wheel or 750b. i'm not excepting any of this to happen without a little work but i'm trying to find some one who has done something that will work for me.

bottom line is im looking for a rear disc hub i can lace up with a new rim, any after market rear hub that may work for my 81 kz750.?

any suggestions/advise/leads will help,i am just looking to get a matching 18 inch wheel set

Eric

What front wheel are you going to use? The only 18" Rr w disk that I know of are the two you mentioned already ---- 1000A & 750B. I think those are 40-spoke. The 1000 CSR has a 48-spoke 16" Rr. I would assume an 18" rim could be laced to the csr hub, but its hub might be wider than an 18" hub.

There probably isn't anything that is bolt on. but you might get lucky with the wheels you previously mentioned. If i was going to upgrade the front suspension I would do the rear as well, the soft stock shocks and spindly swing-arm are going to disappoint after slapping a modern front end on there.
