My bike is missing rear handles, attached to top of rear shock. What is right name for that part?
I would like to find it on ebay.

Kawasaki lists it as a frame grip. aka grab handle, grab bar, etc. Your bike may have had one on the left side only.
From the cross-ref at Partzilla the 1000E frame grip was only used on those 2 models.
I have no idea if a grab bar from a different model would work.

I couldn't find a parts list specific to the 80 KZ1000ST, but I'm pretty sure this is what you're looking for. It's an obsolete part from Kawasaki, but reproductions are available.

Hey "car5car" !,  I wouldn't mind a set of these grab rail/ frame grips myself for my ST . Your post is pretty old and last we heard was you were ordering one of the aftermarket ones. Million dollar question though is did it fit your ST?  I looked at a bunch of these on Ebay etc and not one says it fits the E1/ST/Shaft model.  But no one had measurements either so I could check the hole to hole distance on bike and know for sure if it fits or not.  I have a suspicion it fits because why would Kawi have gone to the extra hassle and expense of having to use a different size one for just one model?? The MK11 and the ST are very similar and I would think if t would fir the MK11 it would likely fit the ST?  But not willing to gamble on that and order to find out my hunch was wrong.

Maybe you could measure your 1000 ST, then post the info. so someone here might could do the same to see if they match.

I looked it up on Diablo.com and it was about $12 however, they are out of stock.
I would like to have one of these on one of my bikes but think you would have to remove the rear grab bar in order to install it.
This would make it easier to get bike up on the centerstand.
