Cables for rs34s

I talked to z ent. about new but shorter slack cables for my new 34s. with stock bars on my 900. they referred me to motion pro,custom cables. I called and asked if they made cables for all different bikes why wouldnt they know about rs 34s on stock bike bars I know Im not the first to ask. and they gave me the quote for custom cables WOW!!! then tried to sell Me their kit for another 60 bucks made out of plastic,and not compatible, to my stock set up. so I was sitting in the shop and wondering how long it will take an the funding and looking at the box, and it said their
for 750s. So I dug through my old parts pile took some measurements, And dang shuckydarns heck fire jumping golly they fit. 3 !/2" slack cables z1 ent. #tuo6-3019 but no chrome elbows. for 400 450 650 750 900 1000 LTDs

Did you try using the stock cables ?
this is with the stock cables & stock handlebars on my 80 LTD 1000 with the stock 28 mm pumpers


& this is with the stock cables , handlebars, & the RS 34's, just about no more slack, but the cables work fine

Yep. but to me that is not good enough, if you dont have enough adjustment its only half fast. what gets me is,everyone that sells the rs 34s didnt have any idea what applications would work you have a 43 1/2 over all lenth with 4" slack cable. what is needed is cable that fits in length and 3 1/2 " slack cable. I have a 44 1/2 over all length just no chrome 90 on the bar end yet. it fits perfect.

motion pro makes custom cables. maybe barnet.

Barnet, absolutely! I definitely want all my brake lines and cables to match, braided stainless. Barnet makes heavy duty clutch cables and its always good to have some for backup. I think ill make them a birthday present for my bloodhound or something. So for now Ill settle for the 28 dollar version.
