Recently took my KZ for a run on the highway for some time going about 55- 62mph and found that my hands were numb when I went for a break. I have heard that these bikes were buzy at highway speeds. I am wondering just how buzy, is normal if that makes sense.

I have gone over and checked the torque on all engine mount bolts and all axle bolts and swing arm bolts.

Are your carbs synchronized? that can make a big difference to the smoothness of an engine. I believe the KZ500 is known for vibes and over 5k rpm a period test said you won't be able to see in the mirrors.

I only have numbness with clip-ons. Many years ago with the stock bars I didn't have much numbness, but I usually always wear gloves.
