Fairing Alignment

So I have some fairings that aren't aligning correctly on a GPZ900R.

Question 1:
Is this happening because the fairing stays are bent, their is signs of damage from a drop.

Question 2:

Fairings don't really bend they just crack right?
I know they can warp from heat as-well.

Conclusion:
Assuming this is correct I just need to replace or repair the fairing stays to fix my alignment issue?
