79 ltd rear dual piston caliper is there a special way to remove both pistons for cleaning and new seals? one will come out with air the other doesn't. is there a special tool I will use once in my life time, or is good ole coal mine ingenuity the answer. Ive hooked the caliper up to a front mc and with fanaigling got them both to move. but if one comes out what about the apposing piston? nothing is mentioned in the manual

The one that comes out ok,you put back in,just enough to seal it. Then put a clamp on it to hold it i place. Connect the air hose and blow the second one out,take the clamp off the first one and jiggle it free.Bobs your uncle and Fannys your aunt.

Don't forget that the small hole with the small O-ring cross's over to other side. Between the 2 pieces of the caliper housing.
When you apply air be careful to keep fingers out of way. I can't remember, been 15 or so years since I cleaned one up.
Have you split the caliper in 2? 2 pieces? Blow air with a small nipple air chuck into that tiny hole, should pop out piston.
Just watch your fingers.

I popped one out,Split the caliper,put a 10x1.25 bolt with Teflon tape in the banjo bolt hole and blew at the small 'o'ring. Soon as Brown Santa brings the little package Im going to name it alldone. Thanks guys for the input. If the other side would have come out first I would have closed the bleeder
