Kz550 Handlebar Replacement
25 Sep 2015 16:46
Hey everyone
I'd like to replace the big LTD handlebars with something a little bit lower. Ideally I'd like to get Pro Taper or Renthal dirtbike bars. I attempted to switch them out last winter with a set of 7/8 pro tapers, however the kz550 handlebar electronics wouldn't slide over the new bars. Can anyone point me in the right direction on which bars I can use while keeping the stock handlebar electronics?

Except for cable length and where the front wheel master cylinder sits in the bend, in front of the grips, I can't hink of any reason any 7/8" bars would not work. The cross bar has to go of course.
