Fork studs for MkII? was created by kzrider
One of the fork legs on my MkII has a bolt instead of a stud. I was going to find the part number and try to source a replacement stud, but neither my euro spec paper parts catalog nor kawasaki.com's online parts diagrams show the studs' part numbers. So I'm wondering if someone can tell me what the correctly part number is. Same as the earlier 1000s that use 8 35 studs? I didn't take one of the ones I actually have out to measure it, but it looks a bit longer than 35mm. Maybe 50mm?

That's odd. Maybe someone switched a bolt instead. 35mm looks too short. 50 is more like it.

I went out and measured one of the studs. I didn't take it out so it's approx. 47.46mm long.
