1975 KZ400 front brake help. was created by csarnese
As of right now i don't have front brakes on my kz400. The hole where the banjo bolt screws in is stripped, so i need a new caliper. Does anyone know which aftermarket caliper will fit a 75 KZ400 for a decent price? Thanks a lot

Most parts for that caliper are no longer available. I had to do a fork/caliper swap to get a front brake on my kz400. was about $50 in machining and $100 in parts. but the 440 brake is WAY nicer than the original 400 caliper.
heres a tutorial i wrote

Or you can use a barrel insert. You can do it yourself if you have the proper tap.
