I had the same experience as Ron. I tried all the same remedies with no success. On my last attempt I even made little shims to put behind the piston side pads. This worked for about 250 miles but then went back to the nails on chalkboard shrill that DRIVES ME CRAZY . I finally located some original Kawasaki pads for $80 a pair and installed them yesterday. One thing I noticed is that the original pads have a shim riveted on the piston side pad that none of the aftermarket ones had. This shim is not a full circle but looks more like a capital D. Anyway I hope this stops the squeeling. Also, like what was mentioned earlier you don't have to remove the wheel. I removed mine only because I pulled the rotors to break the glaze on them.
