just finished up this disk brake arm with a chrome moly tube underbrace .

spdygon it sitting in the box i shipped it in was 13 1/2 lbs.
the tubing is 1" x .065 4130 chrome moly tubing.

you gotta get under the chain run swest.

i put them where i do to give plenty of chain clearance for future sprocket selection.

if you don't like it hanging down i also do what i refer to as a stealth underbrace.

here is one i just completed,





and here is a stealth overbrace..





i split 1" x .065 wall thickness 4130 chrome moly and then tig it on.

with it on the bottom it is barely noticeable and you about have to be looking for it.

so overlaying the split tube on the round tube creates a cross section that resembles an 8 .
