"Do you think if i put a small washer in at the axle would that maybe help or fix it? "

No. Don't try to band-aid it. If there is play something is wrong and you need to identify the problem. Ed

Maybe when you changed the tyre, you used the wrong type of air to inflate it. Did you use genuine Kawasaki air or an aftermarket product?
With some things you can get away with aftermarket parts and theyre ok,with others you really should go for genuine Kawasaki. With it being the front wheel, this is a pretty important area, safety wise, and you dont want to be taking risks. Cutting corners by using a cheaper aftermarket air could have serious repercussions. Be aware.
Good luck

I want to kick myself for not checking if there was play in it before i removed the tire. I replaced the tire because the tire was wearing really bad on one side. Tire pressure was good so I thought it was just because the tire was old and it didnt look like it had been changed . Now Im thinking this problem may have always been there since I got the bike. Bearings Maybe ??

Well I came home and put everything back together . I guess I just needed to walk away from it for a day. Everything fit right together.

I'm glad you got it back together ok. Sometimes taking a little break from the problem is the best remedy. :) Ed
