Alright,
I've been chewing on this idea for a little bit. My Cafe/brat project has taken inspiration from a few guys who have put modernized front fork and brake setups on an old bike chassis. My thought is to save a few bucks and just put an extra rotor and caliber on the right side of my front forks? It's braking isn't over the moon at this point anyway. My kz has this setup already on the left. What are your honest thoughts?
- will this require a new master cylinder due to increased load?
- when you do front end brake work, should you always replace both simultaneously for the sake of equal wear and balance? Would it be smart to redo all the pads and shoes at the same time?
- has anyone done this and had issues with the fitting?
When I look at the forks, there are mounting holes already present but not in use.
