Does anyone know if these will work good on a 1983 kz550 ltd?

I installed a Flanders set onto my 81 650 a while back but have since replaced them w Emgo European bars from Z1Enterprises.com. The Fr Br mc was level w the Flanders set (the mc is tilted w the Euro bars). The upright riding position is fine around town, but for extended periods at highway speeds or bursts of 65+ mph, not so good unless you have a fairing,
To save money Emgo probably has the style, but the measurements could be different.

Oh did you have to change out any cables or anything?

You don't have to change out the cables & brake line, but they might be too long with new bars.
I moved the front turn signals to the headlight bucket first. Then refurbished the Fr brake & got new ss lines. After that I installed a new clutch cable, then an even shorter clutch cable for the Euro bars. I never got around to replacing the throttle cables. doh.

Thats sounds cool. Im going to go ahead and order the bars. If the cables bother me I can change them later. Thanks
