It doesn't show where this thing goes. I suspect it goes on the support below the steering head where the two bolt holes are. Useless because that's where the cracks appear anyway. I welded some angle iron over the cracks decades ago.

Oh, I always wondered how they got away with not issuing a recall for the high speed wobble, cracks and frame flex issues. It always seemed to come at 93 MPH. If you got above it or stayed below it, you were fine. I can't tell you how many "Tank Slappers" I barely got out of over the years. I bought some steel stock and plan on gusseting my frame soon. I did under the tank years ago but it's still there.

you would be amazed at how much a stronger swingarm would help cure the wobbles.

I've been looking at some GS 1000 swing arms. They were the fix in the day.

Apparently not much more than the bracket and 2 bolts shown. Kawasaki shows that part as still available for $6.49! Yes, the decibel point is in the right place.

Bolts right in with spacers, that's the swingarm I'm using. Glad I got mine when I did, the price has doubled since last year.

Too bad my spare swing arm was lost in the fire. Been planning on building one up on my own.
