In fact I am sure it wont fit. Heres what a Bandit 600 wheel looks like in a GS1100 swinger;

Oh, I see.. Oh well, guess Ill keep the rear end stock for now. Its already a bastard mix of parts so doesn't really matter except for the potential weightloss i could have gained.

Thanks so much for all the tips and info! Love this site

So,how come you can change the front end with no problem from the man but not the back end?

with the man?

the Front is an easier job because its basically just about finding new tapered bearings for the triple tree.

(AllBallsRacing.com is great for finding the bearings.)

the 07´ GSXR-750 fork was complete with brakes,discs and clip-ons,levers etc.

got the front wheel from an 09´ gsxr600

it was basically just a swap.

when It comes to the rear, I have to match the axle,chain alignment and width of the wheel to the original wheel, and thats the tricky part, finding a 3 spoke cast rim that matches.

Again, the Norwegian laws sucks hehe, so its best to make it look as non-modified as possible to not stand out at a control etc.

(it costs quite a bit, and can be a real hassle to get through the MOT and licensing)

so until i find a match, Ill just keep it stock at the rear end.

;)
